~ Weston ~
SOLD

This very special little bear honors the birth of a first grandson to a very special lady!  Johnna has been my fur supplier for all the years I've been bear crafting.  She just announced the birth of her grandson Weston and of course, this beautiful Peacock Blue bruin had to be named after him.
(As is often the case, I struggle with photographs when I have a particularly unique fur.  So I will attach a link to Johnna's video of this fur so you can get an idea of how lovely it is.)

In keeping with Weston's cubby appeal, I gave him larger glass eyes with airbrushing to deepen their expression.  His hand-stitched nose was heavily waxed to a lovely wet looking shine.  His deeply curved ears have that sweet baby bear setback.

I truly enjoyed designing this sweet bear.  I wanted him to have a cub-like appeal, so I gave him nicely curved front legs so he could hold something between his paws.  He can also play peek-a-boo if you so wish!

Here is the link to Johnna's video of the same fur.  This is a Facebook link for you to copy and paste, so while you're there be sure and look me up at "Mohair Bears by Cathy Lynn Forcino."

This beautiful boy bear is so much more charming in person with his fabulous colors, he is sure to delight upon arrival. He will arrive with a sewn in label as well as a signed swing tag certifying he is a One-Of-A-Kind creation.  I welcome any comments or questions, so always feel free to contact me.

Weston measures 12 inches in length and has all the characteristics of my largest bears.  He has a prominent back hump and a large round tummy!  Fully articulated with discs and locknuts, he is filled with polyfill and nicely weighted with a pocket of steel pellets.  His Merino Wool paw pads feature airbrushed outlining and hand-stitched claws.

Weston wears a collar of raveled ribbons in a most vintage style with a large old key around his neck.  The ribbons reflect the peacock colors of blues and greens.
